Learn to add powders to tacky black gesso to make the gourd look like raku pottery and finish the piece with leather lacing (braiding). Cost $20 - You will make your payment directly to the instructor. After your order is placed the instructor will contact you to make your payment.

Student brings to class: A clean opened gourd about 6 inches wide – the inside needs to be painted (black, blue, dark green or red) and dry. If you want to drill the holes ahead of time, space them ½” apart close to the rim. Awl, Small pliers for pulling leather lacing, drill with 1/8” bit.
Teacher provides: Will have a drill and bit to loan, Black gesso, Metallic powders, Brushes, glue and Leather lace
